| Many people think that they are the only person in the world who have faced the problem of their spouses moving away from them and got involved in an extra marital affair. In fact a lot of people are facing this problem these days, and the incidence of adultery is rising day by day. The statistics on extramarital affairs indicate:
Adultery crosses all socio economic barriers - and members of all classes irrespective of their social and economic status are equally affected.. No matter how rich you are, where you stay, the kind of work you do, or other factors, infidelity is present in all walks of life. In fact, majority of adulterers are members of the middle class, and most of them are women. The people aged between 25 to 40 are found worst affected by adulterous affairs.
The signs of a typical extra marital affair are also very much common. Most people who opt for this type of affair are found to have known each other for a very little time before getting married and most adulterers go for such affair within the first three years of marriage, although it is not uncommon for people who have been married for a quarter century to find out that their spouses have been creeping around.
It is common belief that men are most likely to cheat but in fact women are equally responsible in this matter. Of those very few may be found who would acknowledge that they have committed a mistake or found repenting for their decision. People find this kind of relationship exciting because feel the adventure of getting involved in an illicit encounter. However this kind of relationships are found to be lasting for a very short period of time.
