| My whole life, I've always been late.
Whether it was a doctors appointment or a funeral, there I was, rushing in making apologies.
It was a way of life for me, and I was actually proud of it. I knew that I could talk my way out of trouble most of the time.
But it wasn't until I got into my late 20's that I made a profound discovery:
The amount of booty I was getting directly correlated to how EARLY I was to things.
It was a realization I made by accident...
As usual I had just burst out of my house, running late to meet a client, when I remembered that the clocks had changed the night before. I wasn't late at all, in fact, I had an hour to kill. It was a very pleasant feeling and I took my time getting to my destination. I picked up some coffee. I stopped into a bookstore.
And I opened about a half dozen girls, two of which I ended up sleeping with.
It was then that it dawned on me that had I not been running early, I would never have met any of those women.
Not to mention that being early put me into a very relaxed state which was clearly perceptible to the girls I was chatting with.
And finally, I recognized what my previous behavior pattern had been and it hit me like a ton of bricks:
Every time I was running late to something and saw a girl I wanted to talk to, I DIDN'T. And I didn't because I had an easy way to justify NOT opening. 'I was running late! I didn't have time...' However valid of an excuse it seemed, it was still an excuse.
And it was an excuse, because the solution was plain as day:
Start being early to shit.
Because most guys aren't full time pickup artists and usually meet women when they are on their way somewhere, whether it be to work or to the grocery store.
So give yourself the opportunity and the TIME to meet people.
You'll thank me later and your boss might too.

PS: There is, of course, one thing it's OK to be late for and that is a date with a woman.
